Hipster I is a free Lightroom preset that takes your photos and gives them that extra edge and ambiance. This Hipster preset was inspired by rimmed glasses, beards, fixed-gear bikes, bow-ties, and avoiding the mainstream. You know a hipster when you see one and this filter helps you see one in the photos you take.
Try this preset on any photo that call for the Hipster vibe. You may use this to feature portraits, fashion, and this subculture’s bold lifestyle. Hipster I is ideal for both indoor and outdoor photography, as you will see in the examples below.
Enhances Textures and Details
A Showcase of Style. See how the Hipster I preset draws your attention to the subject. He seems more illuminated and you see more of his features. His tattoos appear inkier, darker.
To produce this effect, the preset applies a special radial filter that pumps contrast, sharpness, and clarity to where it matters.
Adds Stylish Tints on Highlights and Shadows
Hipster Ambiance. Compare the Before and After photos — this is the preset’s stunning effect in photos with indoor accent lighting. It takes advantage of the abundance of highlights and shadows.

Focus your attention now on the plants behind the model. They appear mellowed, even darker. This is because the preset also creates a tone curve with custom red and green channels.
